a smattering....

we have had no cable/internet for 2 weeks! been so nice. been cooking and dehydrating foods and cleaning and organizing and cleaning and reading. its been awesome. but my blog is behind. so here you go...a quick update on everything. amazing what you can get done without tv and internet. i feel like im back in the 1800s and LOVING it.

(p.s. im sitting in books a million in the middle of all the wiz
ard and dungeon and dragon players dressed in goth....mental picture)

cody was "reverend deal" at the sadie hawkins dance. (hilarious!)cody and i eat half a poundcake valentines day. for those of yall who think we only eat healthy ALL of the time....yes we ate a half a pound cake.

so now its back to our healthy eating and this is my new cook books that i love!!!!!
this food is awesome in this book. ive been using my little dehydrator so much that i hope it dosent break anytime soon! you cant believe how good the food tastes!!!! even The Dealer approves!!!!!!!!!!

a little snowman made out of blueberries, dog bones, orange rinds, and dog treats.
this didnt last long for those of yall who know me and the cold
banana pancakes turned out spontaniously wonderful just played that one by ear!
yes that is a larger than life heart with tennis shoes on.
once again, heart with tennis shoes. cant believe im even typing that.
is this awkward? not with the dealer. never know.
imagine what i thought seeing The Dealer walking in the room with this big obnoxious thing (and the cowboy hat that has hung around ever since Reverend Deal performed his duties as preacher at Sadie Hawkins dance) (and for a side note, the accent changes when hat goes on...and not as a joke.)
performing his duties. for the first time in my whole life and maybe for eternity, i heard cody say....."i cant really think of anything else to say" jaw. hit. floor. for those of yall who know The Dealer there were many of his normal "what does that have to do with the price of tea in china?" sayings. he was in his element. dont let him fool you. HE LOVED every second.
our winter wonderland picture. on a random valentines day trip to hot springs. and keep in mind, when we left the house, cody told me..."oh yeah, you will be ok in just your fleece!!" :) snow. blizzard. freezing.
but stopping in the cold to take advantage of the great water in hot springs!!!!

a lot of lounging going on lately around here. tired of this cold.
UT Elk burgers.

more to come soon.

p.s.-you have NO idea how relieved I was to see you eating donuts. I was afraid to even ever bring up that part of our past in light of the food rules. :)
