12. my antique vanity.when i found this thing in waco, chills went up my body. had to have it. i often compare the feeling i get when i'm antiquin' or thrift store junkin' to what a druggie must feel like when he is shooting up or getting high on cocaine. my heart starts pounding and i get incredible energy....it is definitly a RUSH. (please ignore the mess around it. oh well)13. my great grandmother ("mom")'s chair. i love this chair so much. you all should have seen my face in college when one of my guy friends leaned back in this beauty and almost broke it....lets just say....i was not very nice to him. I LIKE MY THINGS PEOPLE! dont mess with them. maybe this goes back to when i carried all my sesame street characters in a sock that i took off of my foot when i used to get around my cousins. hid my toys in my socks. never been much of a sharer. (mental note: pray about that)
14. my AUTOGRAPHED picture of Tammy Faye Baker. Let me just try to express to you how much i love this woman. she to me is a true picture of christianity. loved people when no one else did. loved gay people when no one else did. and she has a qwirky style and flair and didnt care what anyone else thought. bless her heart she had a rough life. if anyone questions me...they need to watch her documentary "THrough the Eyes of Tammy Faye" i own it so you can BORROW my copy.
15. new obsession. BALTIC AMBER CANDLE from anthropologie (as if i didnt love that store enough, people) this candle is aweeeeeeeeeeesome. thats all i gotta say.
16. the doors inside of my house. i love these things. old houses have so much more character than new ones. i dont even use these doors but i love walking by them all the time. i will majorly miss these doors.
17-18. my elvis head. one of my thrift store finds. i love this thing. its just random and fun. and i think its hilarious that someone actually made this and had this in their house at one time. it cracks me up to look at it and i feel like it adds a little fun in my living room. once again: had the antique rush blood pumping feeling when i found this in the thrift store in WARREN, ARKANSAS!

also, my rolled up DOMINO magazines. who is is so mad they quit printing this????? this magazine, at any point, i could close my eyes turn to a random page and do my house like that page. also, great recepies and random stuff. oh well, still in search for my new magazine.....anyone got a good one?

19. SCOUT carriers and bags. i LOVE that i found these things. im going to use them to transport towels back and forth from Brown Eyed Girl Salon. but arent they just the cutest dern things you ever did see. and they will not mildew. i feel like i drown in mildewed towels. ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! no more!!!!!
20. a random wooden sign from my mom. i love looking up at it. its a great reminder in marriage and after i had looked at it for a couple of weeks i realized its a lyric in one of my favorite songs by PATTY GRIFFIN. "Long RIde home" you true Patty fans will know what im talking about.....calling all patty griffin lovers!!!?????
21. a random snapshot at Carrie (see her blog to r)'s wedding. with my crazy friend rebecca. we look so funny. and i love what rebecca is wearing. hair a mess. 500 bracelets, 3 neclaces, glasses, cute dress, and leopard heels. we were "baylor people watching" (the best) and talking about our wonderful study abroad in italy we did together. and eattttttting. a great memory.
22. my new cookware. LE CREUSET. love it and it didnt hurt my decision when i saw these puppies on julie and julia. maybe by cooking with the same stuff i will cook all that awesome stuff. was that my thought process? maybe it was. oh well. got so excited and cooked with it and as cody was cleaning the kitchen (yes, he does that too!) he said "hey ali, next time take the sticker off the bottom!" oops. too eager i guess. haha. although, even with my little mess up, ive still tricked cody into thinking that i am racheal ray's sister. he thinks im the best cook yet. haha.

oh and i just received great news...jillian off of BIGGEST LOSER is not gay according to my friend. and here is my thought process...."DUH, i knew it. i knew it when i saw that Jillian rolled her hair....she is not gay. Lesbians dont use hot rollers. she isnt gay. and the lip gloss. she always has it on. cant be gay. she thinks about these things" so although i already had thought it out....it was confirmed. now to find out about bob.....i hope he is not.....because i dont have a celebrity crush....bc i love cody....but if bob is straight....he could be my celebrity crush so when people ask me i can now have an answer. although, cody is cuter.
