hung in my guest room :) easy as pie and cheap. the fabric is a painters DROP CLOTH. if you can SPLURGE the $9. haha (joke)

they have a linen-like texture. love em.

and most of my day today has consisted of the following:

currently i have been watching this for the past hour... its like video prozac. all the greats are featured on here. my fav (glad knight and the pips, barry white, isley brothers, earth wind and fire, aretha, sly and the family stone)

(side note: ive told the story on here about cody coming home from work and asking me what i did today and my response was "oh, i have learned all the gladys knight and the pips background dances..." just as serious as i could be. after i performed all of them, he officially thought i was crazy) (Here is the MAIN one i learned..) we blast this song all the time. its so good.

i've recently started taking american girl dolls for clients. would do this full time if i could.
ive made myself stop buying baby clothes. and yes, there is another side to this closet. ICANTHELPMYSELFFROMBUYINGSTUFFEVERYTHINGISSOCUTE! and most of it is given or consignment stuff so that makes me feel a little better. (cough, cough) my aunt has OFFICIALLY cut me off. even though she bought me my last item.
picked out bedding fabric.
and curtain fabric. just waiting to funk-i-fy these on up with some rick rack and pom pom balls.
and maybe some other fun fabs thrown in...
hemmed, lined and hung those curtains right on up (my sewing table collapsed mid sew, now, THERE is a good story) (i might or might not have cussed) and im about to paint that baby's crib a bright orange.
spoiling milo for a little while longer, who am i kidding...we wont stop. ill go ahead and buy that double stroller for our real child and our furry child. is it weird that when im alone i try john morris deal's clothes on milo????

(jk i dont do that) haha.

finishing up random projects all over the house. my nesting is out of control.

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF in about 3 hours i have ALL the senior/junior girls from my church youth group staying here all weekend in MY house.

and cody is on a bus with a million teenage baseball players.

thats right, all of our best friends are high schoolers. we are surrounded by them.

i cant imagine when we actually get to call one of them our own. most of them already call us "mom" and "dad"

life is BUSY and fun.
